Niagara Helicopters has confirmed a full fleet renewal for its Ontario-based tourism company with the order of six H130 helicopters.
“In order to continue to deliver a first-class visitor experience, we felt it was time to upgrade our aircraft,” explained Denis Pilon, chief operating officer for Niagara Helicopters, who described the H130 as “ideal” for the company’s needs.
Niagara Helicopters welcomes more than 100,000 tourists a year on its nine-minute, 27 kilometre sightseeing tour over Niagara Falls. The H130 can carry seven passengers, offering ‘outstanding visibility through a large wrap-around windscreen and wide windows,’ states its manufacturer. It also offers the most economical operating cost per seat in its class.
