IAG cuts its full-year profit guidance after first-half loss while we look at a CDS comparison

United Airlines has announced it plans to launch a new service from Washington DC to Lagos from December 13.
The service from Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport to Washington Dulles International Airport will stop over in Accra, Ghana.
Jeff Smisek, president and CEO of United Continental Holdings, says: “This service will facilitate stronger commercial and cultural ties between the United States and Nigeria, while providing new options and convenience for travelers on both sides of the Atlantic.”
A Boeing 767 aircraft will operate on the route, sales of which will start today.
