New CCO for London City Airport

Industry veteran Andrew Hodges is joining London City Airport (LCY) as chief commercial officer (CCO) ahead of what the hub expects to be a busy year.

Hodges’ “extensive experience” with easyJet, British Airways and Norse Atlantic includes ”a range of commercial roles”, LCY said in a statement.

LCY chief executive Richard Sinclair said Hodges would bring wide knowledge of the British and European aviation sectors as the airport readies to spend £12 million on a revamp of its lounge and as traffic returns to pre-pandemic levels.

Hodges will replace Richard Hill, who is moving to lessor Abelo to work as chief financial officer.
