JC International Airlines has officially launched in Cambodia, bringing the number of local airlines operating in the kingdom to five. CEO Dongyan Huang confirmed that the airline was registered as a local company with an investment capital of US$50 million and is operating two A320s on daily flights between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, and Siem Reap and Sihanoukville.
JC International Airlines plans to first serve the domestic market but will soon add international routes to Asean member states and China - Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong - as well as South Korea, Japan and Europe.
By the end of 2017, JC International Airlines plans to add three additional aircraft.
