New Brighton to Paris airline launched

From next year, using a LET-410 UVP aircraft, new airline Brighton City Airways, will fly up to four times a day from Shoreham Airport near the UK city of Brighton to the Pontoise-Cormeilles Aerodrome, which is 16 miles northwest of Paris.
If successful owner Neil Laughton will launch services to other international destinations including Brussels, Charleroi, Amsterdam and Calais as well as UK routes from Shoreham to Bristol, Exeter, Jersey and Manchester.
“There must be a million and a half people in Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Hampshire for whom the quickest way of reaching Paris involves a trip all the way to St Pancras train station,” said Laughton.
