NEW BRAND IDENTITY TO MARK DECADE ANNIVERSARY FOR ACS

Aviation professional services firm ACS is celebrating 10 years in 2011 with the launch of a new brand identity to mark the milestone and support its future growth plans.

Once known as Aviation Compliance Solutions, the ACS Consolidated Group (ACS) was one of the first organisations in the world to be accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as an ‘Audit Organisation’ to conduct IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) audits.

ACS has been involved with the IOSA Programme since its inception in 2003 and has undertaken over 200 audits of airlines around the world.

Headquartered in Melbourne, the business remains the only aviation services provider with such accreditation in Asia Pacific and in the southern hemisphere.

“We have been instrumental in the success of the program in Asia Pacific,” ACS chief operating officer Jake Milford said. “Over the past few years, we have worked with a number of Asian airlines to ensure an increased level of safety, compliance and operational excellence.”

Milford said 2011 would see the business focusing on further developing its consulting and training capabilities in addition to enhancing its recruitment and finance and leasing services.

Milford also said that there was increased activity on the recruitment front as the industry recovered from the global financial crisis, particularly in the Asia Pacific region.

“Asian airlines are certainly getting ready for an upcoming growth period. We have been recently engaged by a growing Chinese airline to recruit over 100 pilots to support its international expansion.”

In addition to launching the new brand, ACS also started the year with a global partnership with the world’s leading air charter service provider, Chapman Freeborn.

“We are looking forward to working with Chapman Freeborn to offer an even greater level of safety, compliance and operational excellence to new and existing aviation clients around the world and help ACS clients tap into award winning chartering services,” Milford said.
