NetJets has added the Challenger 650 aircraft to its European fleet. The global NetJets fleet now boasts more than 760 aircraft.
The news comes as NetJets recently announced a $1.2bn investment with Embraer for the purchase of 100 Phenom 300E aircraft, furthering the expansion of the global NetJets fleet. The expansion comes off the heels of unprecedented demand, for which interest does not appear to be slowing, said the company.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding our European fleet, adding one of our most requested aircraft to our growing portfolio. For the past 57 years, NetJets has prioritised offering the best possible experience to our Owners and this addition showcases our commitment to ensuring we deliver on that promise,” says Christian Luwisch, Executive Director, NetJets Europe.
Featuring a cabin that is the same width as NetJets’ flagship Global 6000 aircraft, the private jet seats up to 11 passengers.
The delivery of the Challenger 650 will take place in the course of 2022. NetJets has plans for the delivery of other aircraft through to the end of 2022.
