Nepal Airlines is all set to announce direct flights from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, from June 12. The airline has opened the bookings for the route with one way fare from Kuala Lumpur to Bhairahawa costing INR 12,700.
Initially, Nepal Airlines plans to operate one flight a week and increase the number of flights based on demand.
The airline said it has a plan to operate a shuttle bus service from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur International Airport in future to facilitate the passengers.
The airline will also launch travel packages to promote tourism in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.
