NAV CANADA appoints new CEO

NAV CANADA - a private, non-profit that operates Canada's civil air navigation systems - has appointed Mark Cooper as its new president and CEO. The appointment will be effective December 2, 2024. 

Cooper has 25 years of experience in aviation and played a key role in developing NAV CANADA's strategic division since joining the company in 2019 as vice president & chief technology and information officer. 

“[Cooper] brings a proven track record of innovation, supporting operational excellence, and visionary leadership,” said NAV CANADA chair of the board of directors Michelle Savoy. 

Cooper will replace Raymond Bohn who is retiring as president and CEO.
