Malaysia’s MYAirline is all set to commence international operations from June 2023 and will start selling tickets from May 2023, Raynor Teo, CEO, MYAirlines confirmed.
Speaking at a CSR event, Teo said: “The first international flights would be to the neighbouring markets of Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. Hopefully, we can commence ticket bookings by end of this month, or early next month. A lot depends upon getting the additional aircraft in time.”
MYAirline currently operates six A320-200s and hoping to expand its fleet to 20 by the end of 2023. It 7th aircraft is currently under maintenance at Tallinn.
“We have enough time to make sure all the aircraft are ready to fly," Teo added.
Meanwhile, MYAirline commenced its eighth domestic route this week, starting daily roundtrip Kota Kinabalu - Tawau flights on April 19.
