Strikes and protests are likely to cause disruption to air travel in France between February 6-8, the French Civil Aviation Authority has warned.
Airlines at Paris Orly have been asked to cut flights by 20%, while rail operators have said services will be reduced, meaning passengers could in turn face difficulties in reaching airports.
The industrial action is to protest against French government plans to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64 and will follow protests in January.
Ryanair said that some of its flights would be affected by some French air traffic control staff signalling their intentions to join the strike.
"It is inexplicable that flights which overfly France are disrupted by French ATC strikes yet domestic French flights are protected by minimum service laws. Ryanair is once again calling on the European Commission under Ursula von der Leyen to finally take action to preserve the free movement of people by protecting overflights over French airspace," the carrier said in a statement.
