Moog announces new chief executive and several board changes

Aircraft controls manufacturer and systems designer Moog has announced several executive appointments, including the naming of Pat Roche as chief executive and the election by the board of Mark Trabert as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Trabert was vice President and president, aircraft, and will replace Roche, who took over as chief executive on February 1.

Michael Schaff was elected vice president and president, commercial aircraft.

Maureen Athoe, vice president and head of space and defence, is retiring after a 39-year career with the company and will be replaced by Joseph Alfieri, previously group vice president and general manager of the mobile machinery business.

"First and foremost, I want to congratulate Maureen on her retirement and thank her for 39 years of dedicated commitment to Moog. She will certainly be missed. I am excited for the future of our company, given the strength of these leadership appointments," said Roche.

Mark Graczyk was elected vice president and president, military aircraft. He was previously the group vice president and chief business officer for aircraft controls.
