ADM Aéroports de Montréal announced its passenger traffic at YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport climbed in the first three months of 2019 by 6.5% compared to the same period last year.
The airport reported a passenger increase of 6.5%, rising to 4.7 million passengers in the first quarter of 2019.
EBITDA performance totalled $89.6 million for the three months ended March 31 up $24 million compared with 2018 - an increase of 36.6%.
The airport's consolidated revenues increased by 22.3% to $178 million in the first quarter.
While its operating expenses for the quarter were $59.2 million, an increase of 10.7% or $5.7 million over the corresponding quarter of 2018.
"The growth in passenger traffic seen at the beginning of the year is an indication of what is in store for us in 2019.The summer season promises to be busy, with as much if not more traffic than last year.
