MGAT facility open for business

MAS GMR AERO TECHNIC (MGAT), a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of MAS GMR AEROSPACE ENGINEERING (MGAE) has been formally inaugurated by Sri Ajit Singh, Hon'ble Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Govt. of India in the presence of Sri S.Jaipal Reddy, Hon'ble Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India.
MGAT is a 50:50 Joint Venture partnership between Malaysian Aerospace Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (MAE) and GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL). The Joint Venture was formed to develop an integrated, best in class third party airframe Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Special Economic Zone within Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Hyderabad.

MGAT will perform the Engineering & Maintenance service operations on narrowbody aircraft such as 737 NGs, ATR 42/72, and A320-family aircraft types as well as widebody aircraft including 777s and A330s.

MGAT operations are certified by both Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) & European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and will perform Aircraft MRO operations in compliance with these regulatory requirements. MGAT operating out of the Special Economic Zone in an operational airport and strategically located at Hyderabad.
