Mexico and the United States have opened up new passenger routes between the two countries following the initiation of a new air transport deal that allows for an unlimited number of flights. The new agreement, which came into force on August 21, modifies a 1960 agreement, and also opens up the air freight market to more competition.
Delta Air Lines and Grupo Aeromexico are expected to coordinate better flight connection times as well as prices.
