Menzies Aviation, a UK-based airport and airline services provider, has secured Cargo iQ certification following the completion of an “extensive” quality audit process.
As part of the accreditation process, Menzies worked to align its global cargo operations with Cargo iQ’s globally recognised Master Operating Plan (MOP), the industry’s standard framework for end-to-end shipment planning and performance measurement.
Beau Paine, EVP for cargo at Menzies Aviation, said the certification reinforces the company’s commitment to operational excellence.
“This accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our global cargo teams, who consistently strive to deliver reliable, high-quality service in every shipment we handle,” he said.
“By integrating Cargo iQ’s quality and performance metrics into our internal systems, we have further strengthened our quality management framework.”
Cargo iQ is supported by the IATA and composed of more than 60 airlines, freight forwarders, ground handling service providers, trucking companies, and IT solution providers globally.
It creates and implements quality standards for the global air cargo industry through planning and performance monitoring based on common business processes and milestones.
Menzies Aviation, which is headquartered in London, operates at more than 350 airports in 65-plus countries, serving 4.8 million flights and handling 2.4 million tonnes of cargo each year.
