A Malaysia Airlines flight MH066 enroute to Seoul from Kuala Lumpur was forced to make an emergency landing in Hong Kong earlier today after a generator failed.
Although the main generator supplying normal electrical power to the aircraft failed, the aircraft’s auxiliary power unit was able to supply the aircraft and the A330-300 aircraft landed safely.
