Mark Neely appointed as the VP, Freighter, Commercial Aviation at Embraer

Embraer has appointed Mark Neely to the position of Vice President Freighter, Commercial Aviation division, effective June 1, 2023. Neely will report directly to Martyn Holmes, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Embraer Commercial Aviation.

In the new role, Neely is expected to lead the company’s growing focus on the Passenger to Freighter (P2F) aircraft opportunities and market development. Neely previously served as the Vice President Sales & Marketing, Head of Region for North America, managing some of Embraer’s largest customers, serving all the major airlines in the US.

Speaking on the appointment, Martyn Holmes, CCO, Embraer Commercial Aviation, said: “Mark's appointment to this new role is a strategic move in line with our focus on developing our nascent freighter business. I’m very pleased that we will be navigating this exciting period of growth in the Passenger to Freighter space with his leadership. Nigel Patterson will be stepping into the role of Vice President Sales & Marketing for North America, ensuring a smooth transition.
