Qatar Airways has stated it intends to increase the frequency of its Doha-Manchester service to double daily from June 1.
Demand for the service is up as passengers from Manchester are opting to fly via Doha to other destinations in the East and Australia. Akbar Al Baker, chief executive of Qatar said the route was performing "exceptionally well".
Outbound flights from Manchester depart at 10.00 and 14.55, arriving in Doha at 19.00 and 23.55 respectively. Inbound flights leave Doha at 01.50 and 07.45, arriving in Manchester at 07.30 and 13.25.
The airline using a two-class wide-body A330 aircraft on the route with up to 30 seats in a 2–2–2 configuration in Business Class and up to 275 economy seats in a 2–4–2 layout.
