Pratt & Whitney has signed a deal to supply Malaysia Airlines with 50 modern passenger aircraft engines. This deal was one of the three major US-Malaysia agreements signed during US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s visit to Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
Malaysia Airlines is also acquiring 55 Boeing 737-800 planes fitted with General Electric CFM engines. The first delivery to be delivered was showcased at an event held celebrating Malaysia Airlines’ partnerships with American companies.
