Macquarie AirFinance signed a sale and leaseback agreement with Frontier Airlines for six A321neo aircraft. The aircraft are powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines.
The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered next year from Frontier's orderbook with Airbus.
“This agreement demonstrates our strong relationship with Frontier Airlines and our commitment to providing financing solutions to support their strategic growth objectives,” said Lynn Guiney, chief commercial officer at Macquarie AirFinance.
“The A321neo's proven performance and market demand make these assets an excellent addition to our portfolio.”
The lessor said the transaction expands its portfolio of new technology aircraft, while providing Frontier with flexible and efficient financing.
