Lufthansa Technik and German airline Condor Flugdienst have signed a total component support (TCS) agreement for the airline's new A32Xneo and extended support for its A32Xceo fleet, providing comprehensive MRO services, spare parts pooling and homebase services. The agreement will also see Lufthansa assist the airline during the production process of its A32Xneo fleet through its aircraft production inspection program (APIP). The APIP will cover initial subassembly inspections to final aircraft acceptance as well as monitoring the process for more than 40 of Condor's ordered Airbus aircraft. ""Based on our previous cooperation, we have decided to further strengthen our partnership in order to benefit from Lufthansa Technik's expertise for our existing fleet and, in future, the new fleet,"" said Condor chief operations officer and accountable manager Christian Schmitt. Lufthansa have supported Condor's A330neo fleet with component services since 2023. Lufthansa Technik chief operations and HR officer Harald Gloy said: ""We can now support Condor's entire Airbus fleet with our excellent component services. Additionally, we are pleased to contribute our experts’ extensive experience in APIP services, having supported in the production process of more than 2,300 aircraft of various types."" The agreement will come into effect in May 2024 and have a term of 12 years.
