Lufthansa Cargo appoints vice president Asia-Pacific

Lufthansa Cargo has appointed Elodie Berthonneau as its vice president Asia-Pacific at its Singapore office. She will head the sales and handling organisation in an important market for the company, which includes regions such as China, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, amongst other regions. ""The Asian region is one of our most important markets and is expected to become even more relevant in the coming years,"" said Lufthansa Cargo head of global market Anand Kulkarni. ""Combining her expertise and experience within the industry and the Lufthansa Cargo brand and knowledge, she will set new accents in our Asia Pacific organisation and in the dialogue with our customers."" Berthonneau joins Lufthansa Cargo from Qatar Cargo where she was vice president network planning and strategic partnership. She has over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, holding various management positions in sales, pricing, profit management, and strategic planning at Qatar Airways and Air France-KLM.
