LOT Polish Airlines has received the first of three new 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The airline said yesterday (January 22) that the the first aircraft flew to Keflavik before continuing on to Warsaw. The other two are in Seattle as they prepare to be ferried to Poland.
With these deliveries, the airline's total number of 737 MAX 8 aircraft in its fleet that features its new cabin layout has increased to five.
The first aircraft delivered is leased from Macquarie AirFinance, marking its first direct 737-8 Boeing delivery.
The other two aircraft are being leased by Aviation Capital Group (ACG) and Air Lease.
