LOT Polish Airlines has selected Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) as its primary maintenance organisation for airframe maintenance services on its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet; which will consist of eight aircraft, the first delivery scheduled in November 2012.
Under the terms of the agreement, MAEL’s highly experienced engineering team will establish a maintenance base in Warsaw, Poland and will support LOT’s global operation.
Mick Adams, Managing Director of Monarch Aircraft Engineering said: “Monarch Aircraft Engineering was awarded this extremely prestigious contract after an extensive tender process which provided further evidence of its intention to grow its MRO business and introduce new technology aircraft to its capability.”
