LOT Polish Airlines has reappointed Michael Fijol as CEO on February 11, 2025.
As previously reported, Fijol was dismissed from his role in December 2024 following a recent audit at the Polish flag carrier.
The supervisory board's decision to reappoint him following the completion of the qualification procedure for selecting the president of the management board. Jerzy Kurella - previously appointed as member of the board responsible for corporate affairs - had reportedly taken over as interim CEO for the Polish flag carrier.
Fijol was previously appointed CEO in June 2023. He joined the company in 20216 as a management board representative for commercial affairs.
