London Gatwick Airport has announced it is "preparing to welcome the return of Air China" ahead of the carrier's resumption of flights to Beijing on April 1.
The flight will be the first to China from the south London airport since early 2020. The four-times-a-week route will be increased to daily flights later in 2023.
"We are delighted to welcome Air China back to London Gatwick, providing a vital connection between two of the world’s most influential capital cities," said Stephanie Wear, vice president aviation development.
