Lion Air resumes direct flights between Shenzhen and Bali

Lion Air has resumed direct flights between Shenzhen and Bali for first time in nearly three years. This decision follows the Chinese government's decision to lift travel restrictions announced on January 8, 2023 and it coincided with the start of the Lunar New Year.

Prior to the suspension of the route, Lion Air’s flights between Shenzhen and Bali were one of its most profitable services. Hence, when China re-opened the airline quickly announced the route's reinstatement

The airline resumed service on January 22, 2023 with 210 passengers onboard, marking the first non-stop flight from China to Indonesia in almost three years.

Lion Air's Shenzhen-Bali route will initially be scheduled to operate once a week every Saturday,

Although the flights are currently scheduled for once a week, Lion Air is planning to upgrade its frequency soon as demand rises.
