Lilium sold eight of its Lilium electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) jets to The Ambitious Group - an executive eVTOL operator planning initial operations out of Marbella and Amsterdam.
The binding sales agreement with an option to acquire an additional six aircraft. The purchase follows an initial letter of intent signed in March 2024.
Lilium's order pipeline now totals 108 firm orders and reservations, 82 options, and nearly 600 aircraft under memorandum of understandings.
The company confirmed that the KPMG-led M&A process aimed at delivering the company's financial restructuring is continuing. Lilium said it is also making strides in its development and testing activities with the jet completing its landed gear drop test in November. Testing of the Lilium jet's ducted fan technology is being tested in parallel.
