Elixir Aircraft has signed a contract with Leading Edge Aviation, which will operate five Elixir aircraft. The company will be supplied with the aircraft by the end of the year.
Leading Edge Aviation is a training centre based in the UK and Spain. It said the aircraft will be used to renew its fleet of 21 aircraft.
"[Leading Edge Aviation] wanted to offer a new aircraft to their students, guaranteeing them great performance while maximising operational efficiency and ensuring the highest levels of safety," said Elixir Aircraft European sales manager Emmanuel Gil.
Leading Edge CEO Andy McFarlane commented: "After extensive market research, we found that the Elixir offers unparalleled safety, economy, and environmental credentials, making it the ideal choice for our single-engine aircraft needs."
The contract was also signed with Green Aerolease, a French aircraft leasing company.
"Including the Elixir in our rental offer is a key step for us, as it allows us to support flight schools interested in this innovative aircraft," Green Aerolease chief operating officer Guillaume Abeguile.
