Disappointing earnings reports due to lower demand and weakening currencies too their toll on Latin America's largest airlines share prices this week. LATAM shares are down 10 percent to a nine-year-low due to it reporting a lower than expected earnings. Avianca shares dropped 15 percent to a record low, while Copa shares lost 19 percent. Gol shares were also down, by 3.9 percent.
