LATAM Airlines Group and its subsidiaries flew 8.8% more passengers during the month of October than the same period last year on the back of a 5.7% increase in capacity. The group’s load factor for the month grew by 2.2 points to 77.8%. International passenger traffic accounted for approximately 52% of the month’s total passenger traffic, while domestic passenger traffic in LATAM´s Spanish speaking operations (Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia) rose 13.1%, as capacity increased 17.7%. As a consequence, the domestic passenger load factor decreased 3.1 points to 75.8%.
Cargo traffic for LATAM Airlines Group decreased 3.7% as capacity increased 0.2%. As a consequence, the cargo load factor decreased 2.4 points to 59.4%.
