LATAM Airlines has reported a net profit of $52 million for the three months to September compared to a $49 million loss in the year-ago period. The operating margin for the quarter was 7.6%, compared with 3.2% a year ago due to cost savings chiefly on labour and fuel.
Revenues for the quarter were $3.36 billion, up from $3.34 billion a year ago.
Load factor for LATAM’s domestic business in Brazil improved by 3.6 percentage points to 81.6%.
