LATAM's March 2023 passenger traffic, if measured in revenue passenger-kilometers, grew by 28.4% compared to the same period in 2022, the carrier said in a filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission in the US.
"Operations measured in ASK (available seat-kilometers) increased by 30.0%," the Chilean carrier added, an outcome it said "implied that the load factor decreased 1.0 percentage points, reaching 80.1%.".
LATAM's cargo load factor was 55%, a decrease of 5.6 percentage points since March 2022.
The airline in March 2023 launched a cargo route linking Brussels and Quito and said it would resume flying passengers between Santiago and Melbourne.
