Korean Air is planning to deploy its A380 super jumbo on Hong Kong route. Starting October, the airline will fly 28 direct A380 services between Seoul and Hong Kong adding almost 11,396 seats on the route.
Apart from Hong Kong the airline has deployed the A380 on New York, Los Angeles and Taipei route. Currently the airline has planned two daily services to Hong Kong for October, with a morning and evening departure. The airline will deploy its A330-300 on the morning slot while the A380 is reserved for the second slot.
Looking at all of Korean Air’s A380 service, it represents 98,494 seats for passengers to and from South Korea.
