Korean Air has announced a codeshare agreement with China Southern Airlines on the Seoul-Urumqi route.
Korean Air’s flights depart from Incheon International Airport on Tuesday and Saturday, and China Southern Airlines will operate on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, giving a choice of 5 flights per week on the route.
Urumuqi, is the capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in the north-west of China and is a central development target for the China Western Development project led by the Chinese government.
