KLM Royal Dutch Airlines unveils summer schedule, doubles flights to Asia

KLM Royal Dutch recently unveiled its summer schedule for 2023 in which the airline is all set to expand its capacity to meet demands. In Asia KLM is planning to double its number of flights as compared to 2022, the airline will serve 16 destinations including daily flights to Beijing and Shanghai, as well as thrice weekly flights to Hong Kong and twice a week to Taipei via Incheon.

In Japan, the airline will serve thrice weekly to Osaka via Incheon, thrice weekly to Narita via Incheon and twice weekly to Tokyo.

Indonesian destinations Denpasar and Jakarta will be served via Singapore, and there will be a daily service to Delhi and Mumbai in India, along with five weekly flights to Bangalore.

The airline has added a new destination-Nantes with thrice weekly flights. Rennes, the regional capital of Brittany, will also have a daily service from the start of the summer schedule.

In North America, KLM will expand its route network to 18 destinations, including New York, Atlanta, Austin, Washington, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and will operate 13 flights a week to Toronto in Canada, compared to 10 flights in 2022.

In the Middle East, the airline will operate daily services to Dubai and Tel Aviv (Israel), as well as a daily flight to Kuwait, four times a week in combination with Bahrain, and three times a week in combination with Muscat. KLM operates to Dammam in combination with Riyadh six times a week.

In the Caribbean and Suriname, KLM will operate daily services to Curaçao this summer. There will also be a daily flight to the islands of Aruba and Bonaire. Paramaribo will be served by six weekly flights, and KLM will also operate three weekly services to Port of Spain and Sint Maarten.

Finally, in South America, KLM will run flights to 10 destinations this summer, including daily services to Sao Paulo (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Panama City (Panama). Flights to Costa Rica will operate according to the winter schedule until mid-May, with three weekly flights to San José in combination with Liberia (Costa Rica).
