KlasJet reconfigures ACMI aircraft for business class accommodation

Private and corporate jet charter company KlasJet - a subsidiary of the Avia Solutions Group - is upgrading its fleet to add business class configuration for its ACMI operations.

The company expects to reconfigure its 737-800 aircraft to offer 12 business class seats along with a further 162 seats in economy. The business class will feature twin seating on either side of the aisle as opposed to the addition of dividers.

"We are starting with this one reconfiguration first,” said KlasJet deputy chief commercial officer Augustinas Riskus. “After this modification, we have plans to adjust other aircraft as customers need so we can provide the extra space and comfort of business class accommodation."

KlasJet currently operates seven 737 next-generation aircraft in its ACMI fleet that are supported by six 737 specifically configured for its 'VIP travel' operations.
