KINGFISHER AIRLINES FLIGHTS GROUNDED DUE TO CONTINUING FUEL PROBLEMS

Shares in Kingfisher Airlines were down 1.6% to Rs 39 as the airline continues to struggle to pay its fuel bills. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation refused to refuel Kingfisher planes on Monday due to non-payment of dues – the airline owes the company Rs 650 crore. The lack of fuel force the airline to ground at least a dozen flights but a Kingfisher spokesperson confirmed that all domestic flights were flying on schedule today.
