Kenya Airways launched new non-stop flights from Mombasa to Dubai. The airline will operate a Boeing 737-800 four times a week on the new route. The airline made an announcement on its Twitter handle.
Julius Thairu, Chief Customer & Commercial Officer, Kenya Airways commented on social media: “Launching this route is part of our network expansion strategy and our commitment towards supporting the recovery of Kenya's tourism and hospitality industry.”
“The historic flight is an effort to sustain millions of jobs in the tourism sector by connecting Kenya to the Middle East directly,” the airline said.
The airline further goes on to claim that the new route will reduce the travel time to Kenya and provide an attractive tourist destination.
