Kenya Airways and the Kenya Airlines Pilots Association (KALPA) have reached an agreement to avert a strike planned for today. The strike has been deferred to June 1 to give time for negotiations.
The two parties have resolved to share outcomes of their consultations in a joint review meeting of the government, the airline and the union prior to June 1.
"We would like to assure our customers and business partners that we are fully operational and as your national career are committed to serving you with price," the airline said in a statement.
