Aviation lifecycle solutions provider Kellstrom Aerospace Group has appointed John McKirdy as new chief commercial officer.
Noting the company’s “tremendous growth” in the past several years, Oscar Torres, Kellstrom Group’s CEO, described that McKirdy’s leadership would “increase [their] ability to meet and exceed [their] customers’ expectations”. McKirdy, who most recently served as senior vice president of Technical Services Group for Kellstrom, noted he was “privileged to lead at this pivotal time in the growth of [the] company”.
Kellstrom Aerospace Group’s services encompass a variety of solutions, including new OEM and aftermarket parts distribution, and the global leasing and trading of whole assets, engines, and APUs. Its Kellstrom Aerospace Technical Services (KATS) provides powerplant management and consultancy services, while the company’s Sunset Fleet Solutions focuses on assets in their final period of operation.
