Kahala relaunches as K2 Aviation
Aircraft lessor Kahala Aviation Group has rebranded itself as K2 Aviation. The relaunched company is founded by a team of industry veterans, comprising of its executive chairman Charles Graham, CFO Michael Howard, COO Sebastian Lourier, and managing partner Karl Ryan. The company said it is set to re-enter the market with a strategic focus on mid- to end-of-life commercial aircraft investments globally. ""Investing in mid to end-of-life aircraft presents unique opportunities for value creation,"" said Howard. ""Our financial acumen, ongoing financial support from our investor, metal management capabilities and strategic approach will ensure we unlock the full potential of these assets."" Graham commented: ""K2 Aviation represents the evolution of Kahala’s successful journey. Our rebranding reflects our commitment to adapting and thriving in the dynamic aviation market."" K2 Aviation aims to leverage its team's industry knowledge to maximise the value of mid-life and end-of-life commercial aircraft. The company hopes to offer ""significant investment opportunities"" and ""tailored solutions"" to its clients.
