Hawaiian Airlines traffic has risen 11.7% in July, while capacity also rose 13.6%, to 1.09 available seat miles. With capacity outstripping traffic growth, average occupancy dipped to 85.2% from 86.7% a year earlier.
For the year through July, traffic was up 18.9 percent, capacity rose 19.9 percent, and occupancy slipped to 84.2 percent from 85 percent last year.
