France-based JPB Système, manufacturer of self-locking devices for the aerospace and aeronautic industry, has signed a new five-year partnership agreement with Spanish aeronautical engine manufacturer ITP Aero, part of the Rolls-Royce Group.
The agreement will see JPB Système exclusively supply ITP Aero with its cutting-edge self-locking Lulylok fittings for single-aisle aircraft application programmes.
The lulykok is a B-nut for fittings uniquely featuring a self-locking device that ensures sealing of pipes, preventing loosening and leakage caused by severe vibration and extreme thermal conditions.
“Having had the chance to establish a close and successful relationship with ITP Aero over the last five years, we are delighted to extend our partnership with the company,” says Damien Marc, CEO of JPB Système. “Looking ahead, we are committed to strengthening this alliance by reinforcing production capacities to meet ITP’s increasing demands and ensure their supply chain efficiencies are upheld.”
Commenting on the partnership agreement, Javier Maurolagoitia, head of external purchasing & supply chain at ITP Aero, added: “ITP Aero has extended the current collaboration with JPB Système based on its product service level, as well as on the general success of our relationship. The self-locking fittings developed by JPB Système have enabled us to enhance the quality of our engines, which delivers a genuine impact in performance for our customers.”
