Jota Aviation, the independently owned specialist UK air charter firm, is celebrating the arrival of its first jet aircraft. The London Southend Airport, Essex based company has added the British Aerospace 146-200 regional jet to its charter fleet, having formally been awarded an A licensed Aircraft Operator’s Certificate for the type by the UK Civil Aviation Authority on October 10. Jota is now offering the aircraft, which features a newly refurbished fresh interior with 95 leather seats to scheduled airlines, inclusive tour companies and corporates as well as air charter brokers looking for newly available capacity for music and sports group work, conference and incentive flights and other ad hoc activity.
The BAe 146, which is also London City Airport compatible, joins Jota Aviation’s growing charter fleet of Beechcraft King Airs. The company has also taken delivery of its fourth Beechcraft King Air – an eight passenger B200 twin turboprop.
