Aircraft trading firm Jetcraft has announced a deal for its Jetcraft Commercial wing to buy 25 Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft frames.

Jetcraft said it would place ten of the airframes, with separately sourced engines, with an undisclosed buyer. The remaining 15 airframes will be placed with different operators,, with deliveries taking place from May 2023 onwards.

This is a milestone deal for Jetcraft Commercial, involving a large number of sought-after assets, demonstrating our extensive global footprint and financial flexibility in finalizing a complex transaction with one of the world’s major airlines," said Raphael Haddad, president, Jetcraft Commercial.

“While these aircraft were previously grounded due to the pandemic, we have identified the role they can play in airlines’ strategic fleet planning as travel ramps up, and have generated significant interest from the Americas, Africa and Asia, very quickly securing our first buyer," Haddad added.
