Jet Time signs deal with Commsoft

Danish charter airline Jet Time has signed a deal to use Commsoft’s OASES maintenance management software.

Copenhagen headquartered Jet Time will use OASES to support the operations of its fleet of five Boeing 737-300s, including two 737-300QCs, and three 737-700s.

The deal is Commsoft’s third in Scandinavia in the past 10 months and marks its entry into the Danish airline market. Jet Time is switching to OASES after previously using a competing product. The project planning has already been launched with the joint project team planning a full ‘go live’ with OASES in February 2012.

Five year-old Jet Time primarily undertakes charter services for inclusive tour companies but also flies on an ad hoc basis for corporate customers and to provide additional capacity to airlines as required.

Jet Time will use the following OASES modules: SFDC/WIP, Reliability, Tech Logs & Defect Control, Inventory including RFQ, Technical Records & Forecasting, AD/SB Evaluation, Planning & Workpack Production, Line Maintenance Control, Digital Documentation for workcard manual attachments, AMP Revision Management.

In addition, a new experience log will be developed to meet Jet Time’s requirements.

Interfaces with operations, finance and HR systems will eventually be integrated as part of the project. As a result, Jet Time will benefit from enhancements to its business processes, which will better enable it to handle growth and future rapid business changes.

Nick Godwin , Commsoft Managing Director said: “Jet Time has established an excellent reputation for itself since its formation and we are delighted to be able to support an aggressive implementation plan and to have been selected, following a very thorough evaluation of OASES against other business alternatives. We are confident that Jet Time will realise major savings in cost, combined with significant enhancements in capability in moving to OASES.”
