Jet Aviation opens $25 million hangar in New Jersey

Jet Aviation has opened a new $25 million, 40,000 sq ft hangar in Teterboro, NJ, which the company has said will aim to meet growing demand for long-range business jets.

The construction is part of Jet Aviation’s efforts to expand and improve its global FBO network of 35 locations.

The company is investing heavily to ensure its facilities are designed and equipped to meet all the business aviation needs of its global customers.

Teterboro is a busy business aviation airport in the United States, averaging more than 200 departures per day, located just miles from midtown Manhattan.

David Best, senior vice president & general manager, regional operations USA, commented: “We are committed to growing Jet Aviation’s position as a leading business aviation service provider in the United States.

“Teterboro’s location in relation to the busy New York metro area market makes it a highly attractive location to many business jet owners and operators. Our expansion makes it easier for customers to access this important market.”
