Jazeera Airways, based in Kuwait, is reportedly looking to acquire additional narrowbody jets such as the A321LR and the XLR to develop routes between Kuwait and Europe, according to The National.
The company's CEO Barathan Pasupathi told the outlet that the company is in talks with lessors to secure these planes.
The airline operates a fleet of all A320 and A320neo aircraft. However, the CEO also reportedly added that it was examining whether it could introduce Embraer's E2 jets for underserved or regional markets.
Pasupathi added the company was not currently considering widebodies to maintain costs.
